Base price

In this article

Fixed base price

By default the configuration will start based on the current product price.

But you can change this and set custom fixed base price, or start configuration price at 0 to be fully flexible.

To change to configuration base price, scroll down to Configuration data and open up the “Product” tab:

Tiered base price

You can also configure price table for the configuration base price. This allows you to change the configuration base price based on the quantity input.

This option is part of the advanced calculation add-on

If you have the add-on or bundle enabled, head over to your configuration form in WCB > Configurations. Open your configuration and scroll down to the Configuration data section. Open up the ‘Product’ tab and locate the field ‘Configurator price type’ and set it to ‘Table price’

Now you should see an additional field appear: ‘Configurator price table’. Here you can select your tiered price table.

Formula price

Finally you can configure a formula price for the configuration form. This is also part of the add-on.

Note: this formula will override the default configuration form price calculation!

This means all attributes that are not listed in the formula won’t be included in total price.

To activate the formula, you must first create your formula in WCB > Formula’s. (Read more in the formula price article on how to create formula’s)

With our formula in place, locate the field “Configurator price calculation” (in the Product tab).

And select “Formula calculation”

Finally, select the formula in the new field: “Configurator price formula”
